We’re looking for a New Yorker social creative to bring a top haircare brand to life on Instagram and TikTok.

Have you got some stylish, cool, gen z relevant posts and a great folio to share?

In this hybrid role, you’ll be writing, filming, and editing fun, engaging videos each week, dreaming up new content ideas daily, and crafting catchy copy for the posts. You'll be the creator and voice—and sometimes the face—of a top haircare brand, giving it a unique and recognizable tone.

You'll also get to attend cool events in fashion and beauty, creating real-time content on the fly. Plus, you'll collaborate on campaigns and digital assets, adding your creative flair alongside a small social team. With some on-site days at the office this role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about social media and has a knack for making magic happen on screen. Experience with AI tools? Even better!

Start on a contract and flexible working Oct-Dec '24 and then permanent from Jan'25

Day to day:
  • Write, film, edit several (3-10x) social videos per week (IG and TT) 
  • Develop content/post ideas every day based on direction provided by social strategist
  • Write copy for all haircare brand social posts including headlines, body copy (if applicable) and post copy. Can be done in partnership with the community manager.
  • Serve as the voice, and sometimes the face, of the haircare brand on social. Providing the brand a consistent, ownable, and unique tone that people come to recognize as the brand.
  • Attend the haircare brand events (NYFW, BravoCon, etc) to create content in real time
  • Assist with occasional digital content development including banners, key visual design, ecom assets, headline writing, etc. 
  • Will be provided a monthly stipend to assist with content creation costs (can be used for props, location, travel, product, etc) 
  • Assist creative director in concept ideation for other creative moments (campaigns, product launches, etc) 
  • Role will be hybrid. We expect this person to be out and about filming content often. Ideally they will be in the agency office 1day per week. May need to go to the haircare brand offices (to create content) 1-2x times per month. 
  • Ideally the candidate has an interest, or even experience, using AI tools to make their work more efficient.
